Sat 30-Apr-16-A BRISTOL FOOD POETRY SLAM – WITH HAMMER & TONGUE

National poetry connoisseurs Hammer & Tongue present Bristol Food Poetry Slam.

Join us for a delicious feast of language, where spoken word artists celebrate the splendour of food in this scrumptious poetry slam. Hosted by Rebecca Tantony, Thommie Gillow and Tim Vosper, featuring our headline act Inja, a massively versatile UK rapper with a love of cooking and wordplay.

The menu for the evening will consist of writers cooking up food related poems just for your listening pleasure and competing against one another to find our kings and queens of the banquet.

Featuring performances from spoken word artists, Malaika Kegode, Polly Denny, Craft-D (Danny Pandolfi), Joe Beaumont Howell, Fahad Dahimi, Sarah McCreadie, Shagufta Iqbal and Edson Burton.

An evening guaranteed to fill you up with the rich things life has to offer.

£7.50 per person. For more information click here
